After leaving León, the “Camino Real” unfolds across dry, open landscapes dotted with gentle hills. As you enter the Land of the Maragatos, the route takes on a more pastoral charm, winding through shaded valleys and cork oak forests. Reaching the Maragatería, the highest point of the Camino at 1,510 m, the trail then follows a scenic ridge down to the foot of O Cebreiro, offering breathtaking views along the way.
