Chemins de France is a travel agency established in 2001, specializing in hiking (in France, across Europe, and in Morocco, including the Camino de Santiago and various other themed trails). The team at Chemins de France possesses extensive experience and expertise in the travel industry, with a particular focus on hiking—a field in which they have been active for over 20 years.
In the beginning...
Brigitte founded the agency in 2001. Long before that, she was already organizing walking trips along the Camino de Santiago—specifically the *Voie du Puy* (the Le Puy-en-Velay route) and the *Camino Francés*—while working for *Compagnie du Sud*, a pioneer in this sector. For more than two decades, she has provided expert guidance, securing the best accommodations and designing stages tailored to each hiker’s fitness level. She has also expanded the agency’s offerings to include various themed trails, such as the Stevenson Trail, the Regordane Way, the Saint-Guilhem Trail, and many others throughout France and Europe.

Co-manager of Chemins de France since 2017, Cécile took full ownership of the agency in 2023.
Cécile has worked in the tourism industry since 1991, focusing on walking and hiking trips since 2000. After spending several years as a reservations manager for an agency specializing in the Portuguese islands, she launched her own website, *Ici & Là Nature*, to provide English speakers with access to walking and cycling holidays. It was through this venture that she began collaborating with Brigitte, developing Camino de Santiago itineraries specifically tailored to these international travelers. Contact Cécile:
