Self-Guided Walking Tour – Figeac to Cahors via Rocamadour | Via Arverna

The classic GR65 route along the Le Puy-en-Velay Way does not pass through Rocamadour, despite this remarkable town being an important pilgrimage destination on the Way of St James.

We invite you to follow this alternative route, which branches off from the Le Puy-en-Velay Way at Figeac and leads you through the spectacular town of Rocamadour before continuing to Cahors. Enjoy six days of walking through the beautiful landscapes of the Lot, with stages ranging from 12 to 26 km, covering approximately 121 km in total.

Day 2: Lacapelle-Marival — 20 km | +360 m / −170 m

Day 3: Gramat — 21 km | −50 m

Day 4: Rocamadour — 12 km | −198 m

Day 5: Labastide-Murat — 26 km | +767 m / −578 m

Day 6: Vers — 24 km | +280 m / −589 m

Day 7: Cahors — 18 km | ±277 m

Day 8: End of the tour after breakfast in Cahors.
