THE WAY OF ST JAMES - THE PUY EN VELAY WAY

This holiday will see you travel along the first section of the Le Puy Way, which is part of the famous Camino de Santiago de Compostela; the Way of Saint James. 

This first section of the Camino de Santiago links the historical Le Puy-en-Velay to Aumont-Aubrac. Starting in Auvergne, famous for its volcanoes, the Camino runs through green yet rocky landscapes. 

In France the Camino de Santiago is marked as a GR Route with a red and white stripe. It is easy to follow and your holiday pack includes detailed walking notes and maps making navigation even easier. Although sometime physically demanding, it only requires a reasonable level of fitness. Moreover, if you feel tired and need a rest, you often will find bars and restaurants along the way.
