Self-Guided Walking Tour – Cahors to Lectoure – St James’ Way

This self-guided walking tour along the GR65 and the Le Puy-en-Velay route of the Way of St James takes you through the beautiful regions of Quercy Blanc and Gascony.Following scenic ridgelines through the Tarn-et-Garonne, you will discover historic fortified towns (bastides) and some of France’s most beautiful villages, including Lauzerte and Auvillar. Near the Tarn Valley and Moissac, visit the UNESCO-listed abbey and walk through lush orchards, home to the famous golden grapes of Chasselas. As you continue into Gascony, the landscapes of the Gers region reveal a land of castles, historic estates and musketeers.
