SELF-GUIDED HIKING – VÉZELAY WAY – LIMOGES TO PÉRIGUEUX
This 6-day walking journey along the Vézelay Way gradually takes you from Limousin to Périgord, from the Vienne to the Dordogne. Starting in Limoges, the city renowned for its enamel and porcelain, you will cross the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, a land of chestnut trees and traditional woodworkers, before reaching the Périgord Blanc.
The beautiful, meandering Dordogne River marks the boundaries of this region of a thousand castles, steeped in history and the heritage of pilgrimage.
Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Limoges
Day 2: Saint-Martin-le-Vieux – 22.5 km
Day 3: Châlus – 26 km
Day 4: La Coquille – 17 km
Day 5: Thiviers – 18.5 km
Day 6: Sorges – 18.5 km
Day 7: Périgueux – 22.5 km
Day 8: End of our services after breakfast.
