SELF-GUIDED WALKING HOLIDAY – THE VÉZELAY WAY

This 7-day self-guided walking along the Vézelay Way begins in Mont-de-Marsan, in the Landes region, where the rolling landscapes of Chalosse unfold beneath the watchful eye of the Abbey Church of Saint-Sever. Gradually, you enter the Béarn region of Gaston Fébus, where you will visit its historic capital, Orthez. Following rolling hills, deep valleys and spectacular ridgelines, you will make your way into the Basque Country, reaching Ostabat, a historic crossroads, and then Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, from where the trail continues towards the Roncevaux Pass.

• Day 3: Hagetmau – 17 km

• Day 4: Orthez – 29 km

• Day 5: Sauveterre-de-Béarn – 20 km

• Day 6: Ostabat – 24 km

• Day 7: Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port – 22.9 km

• Day 8: Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port – End of the trip after breakfast
