Self-Guided Walking – Vézelay Way from La Souterraine to Limoges
Between La Souterraine and Limoges, we will cross the wild and unspoilt landscapes of the Creuse Valley, particularly La Marche, an ancient province whose capital is Guéret. This area is historically a buffer zone between Aquitaine and Berry, characterised by bocage landscapes and deep, narrow valleys. Once we have crossed the plateaux, the bluish hues of granite and slate give way to the warmer tones of gneiss and the rounded roof tiles of the Upper Limousin. Bénévent-l’Abbaye and Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat are highlights of the Limousin Way.

Day 1: La Souterraine
Day 2: Bénévent-l’Abbaye – 21.5 km
Day 3: Châtelus-le-Marcheix – 18.5 km
Day 4: Orgnac – 14 km
Day 5: Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat – 15 km
Day 6: Limoges – 22.5 km
Day 7: End of our services after breakfast.
