SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOUR – VÉZELAY ROUTE – VÉZELAY TO BOURGES
The Vézelay Route (Way of St James) is 900 km long and can be completed in more than 40 stages. Starting from the hill of Vézelay, known as the “Eternal Hill”, this week-long self-guided walking tour takes you through the green, rolling countryside of Burgundy, the forests of Bellary and Bertranges, and on to two other major pilgrimage sites: La Charité-sur-Loire and Bourges, in the Berry region.
